EFAPCO's primary objectives are to:

increase the recognition of professional congress organisers within the European Union;

promote the interests of European professional congress organisers and suppliers;

raise and maintain high professional standards across the meetings industry, by providing education and training opportunities;

increase business opportunities for professional congress organisers in Europe;

monitor, propose and advise on European Union legislation affecting the meetings industry;

assess problems faced by professional congress organisers and promote relevant solutions;

provide opportunities for networking and exchanging ideas and experiences;

further and encourage professional relationships between its members;

create links between meetings planners and EFAPCO members, in order to facilitate their collaboration;

provide relevant information to international public authorities;

supply members with documentation on international conference activity;
